Hello, if you’re logging
on –
Welcome!
|
This page is dedicated to
the
projects and recording sessions I’ve been involved with as a producer,
songwriter, guitarist – and sometimes all three. I’ve had the
pleasure of working with some great talent and this page hopefully will
display my ability to help any up and coming bands or soloists to make
a CD or whatever they may need to further their musical journey. (Yes,
I’m shamelessly promoting, sorry!!)
|
In the last 2 years, I’ve
produced 2 original solo projects, 3 blues CDs, 1 jazz project, 2
country projects and a handful of demos.

Kudos
to Kenny
|
Buddy
Ayers (Casual Gypsies): Kenny was just what we needed. A
great musician, writer and producer. He worked with our budget
and gave us more than we could imagine. Check up out at
casualgypsies.com. This was our first project and Kenny made it a
great learning experience. We look forward to working with him
again.
|
Jake
Banazak (lower case blues): We never dreamed that we could
accomplish this on such a small budget. Kenny not only gave us
the benefit of his production skills; he was also eager to offer guitar
licks and tricks. This CD is moving us into high gear, more work,
and more fans. Thanks for everything, Kenny. Check us out
at lowercaseblues.com.
|
BJ
(lower case blues): Thanks for all your help with vocals and
bass tones and keeping us focused. You the man!!!
|
Paul
(lower case blues): We really needed a push. We were busy
playing a lot but we were not productive. You helped change
that. Thanks!!! We look forward to working with you again.
|
Joe
Campbell (singer-songwriter): Kenny played guitar on my
project and I can only say he gave my tunes new direction. He was
a pleasure and had great road stories and jokes. He’s such a down
to earth guy; no ego. Thanks for your contribution.
|
Alisha
Foraker (Blues Vocalist): Kenny helped me pick tunes and spent
lots of time in post production. He got great players and even
helped with the CD cover, and always offers suggestions as well as
refers me for gigs. He’s on the Christmas List.
|
Jimmy
Pritchard (Bass Player and Vocalist): Kenny helped me with
my debut CD “Shopping for the Blues”; arranging, producing and playing,
and always ready to try my suggestions. I was amazed at the
quality players he uses from New York, LA, and Nashville. I’m
thrilled with the finished CD; it’s more than I could imagine. He
worked with my budget yet didn’t cut corners. He knows how to get
the most out of the players and seems to have the respect of his
peers. I’m impressed with all aspects of Kenny’s ability.
He’s likable and makes everyone feel at ease in the studio. I’m
very pleased to consider him a good friend and I hope he feels the
same. I look forward to my next project. Jimmypritchard.com

Marc
Moss (Owner, Target Studios, Elkton, MD): Kenny always brings
his A game to my studio. He has a knack for giving his clients
what they need. He can be very diplomatic and really cares about
the projects regardless of the budget. He also does a great job
as a session player; bass, guitar, piano, percussion, vocals, never
create a problem. He is willing to go the extra mile for the good
of the project or the song. We’ve been friends for many
years. He is a fine teacher, producer, songwriter, joke teller
and human being. Kenny, keep coming back. Targetstudios.com.

R.B
Hunter (Owner, Tone Room Studios, Wilmington, DE): Kenny is not
only a fine musician. He’s got a great attitude and a flair for
putting musicians together and getting the most from them and it’s
always a blast to have him here. Keep Rockin’, old man!!!

Danielle:
Kenny has been my mentor for about 7 years; 2 albums and I’m currently
working on my third. There’s not enough paper for me to describe
what he has given me. He’s been a friend and always gives me
straight advice. I could tell some stories…but, I’ll make a long
story short. He’s been more like a big brother and I’m glad to
have a friend like him and look forward to a long and lasting
friendship.

Johnny
Neel (Nashville Session ace, Producer, Musician, Vocalist, etc.):
Kenny and I have worked together on many projects. He always
sends me great stuff to work with when I come to Delaware. He is
helpful in putting together gigs and sessions for me when I’m in
town. I’ve worked with many great players, producers, etc., I
could go on and on. Kenny Jones is on that list. Delaware,
New Jersey, Maryland, Pennsylvania; he’s my choice if you’re serious
about your music and living in the tri-state area. Johnnyneel.com

Dave
Sumner (Owner, D.S. Music, Newark, DE): Kenny has been a
friend since he came to Delaware about 10 years ago. He’s well
known in the music scene here, and you either like him or you hate
him. He’s very straightforward. Don’t ask him how he feels
if you don’t want an honest answer. That being said, like him or
not, he’s a wonderful musician, producer, and a great choice for any
musical scenario you may have.
